COFCO Chaoyang Joy City opened business on May 28, the largest shopping mall in East Beijing. It is COFCO’s second Joy City project into business operation and the new landmark of Beijing’s Chaoqing East Part of the CBD, nicknamed as the CBD garden. It integrates shopping mall, restaurants, entertainment and education to serve the community.
Chaoyang Joy City is developed by copying the successful Xidan Joy City model, devoted to offering nutritious healthy foods and good quality life services.
Beijing government officials, COFCO top management, shareholder and tenants attended the opening ceremony.
The opening day made the sales revenue of RMB 2.6 million, received 240,000 shoppers, and registered 3000 members.
