COFCO Corporation and the Chinese Olympic Committee signed the meat supply contract in the General Administration of Sport of China on March 19, 2012. According to the contract, Jojok meat would be specially supplied to the Chinese Sports Delegation from 2012 to 2015. The contract would serve about 20 key training bases and thousands of athletes.
During the valid time of the contract, Chinese athletes would participate in London Olympic Games, Tianjin East Asia Games, Sochi Winter Olympic Games, Incheon Asia Games and five other international multi-sport games.
This was another move COFCO made to fulfill its social responsibility by commercial means. COFCO's integrated business strategy would take credit, which guaranteed food safety, nutrition and quality in each link of the whole value chain.
