AVIVA-COFCO Life Insurance Co., Ltd. was honored three awards on the 3rd session of China Charity Festival held in Beijing on January 16, 2014. The Public Welfare Plan for Left-Behind Children in Rural China were honored the Best Public Welfare Project Award and the Best Public Welfare Communication Award for its demonstration, sustainability, innovation, adaptation and Integrity. The mini-film was honored the Best Public Welfare Movie Award.
The Public Welfare Plan for Left-Behind Children in Rural China covered 12 provinces. There were 25 Care Rooms built, offering assistance to more than 90,000 children in over 50 villages in the neighborhood. Almost 1000 volunteers, the company’s customers and employees participated.
The China Charity Festival was established in 2011. It was the first of its kind initiated by the mass media.
