China Tea Co., Ltd. beat the other domestic peers for the fourth consecutive year, ranking atop China’s tea company list, as awarded during the fifth annual economic meeting of China’s tea industry for 2009, which was organized by China Tea Marketing Association on October 29.
China Tea Co., Ltd.’s three subsidiaries, i.e., Hunan Monkey King Tea Industrial Co., Ltd., Fujian Tea Import and Export Co., Ltd. and Xiamen Tea Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd., were all admitted into the list.
The annual meeting also extended awards to key tea growing counties, special tea growing counties and economic personages of China’s tea industry.
There were over 600 persons present at the annual meeting, including representatives from industry segments like tea growing, processing, distribution, R & D and education of China’s tea industry, and government officials from key tea growing regions.
